Meet the Artist
Sasha Parfenova has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Growing up in southern Siberia, she learned to appreciate the beauty of the natural wilderness—a foundation that continues to inspire her work today. Now living in Massachusetts, she finds endless inspiration in her surroundings, especially during visits to Cape Cod. With her MFA from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Sasha creates each piece by hand, mixing bits and pieces from the natural world to share the curiosity and discovery of the flora and fauna around us.
