Favorite Photo Spots in Boston and Beyond

I’m always drawn to places where light, texture, and nature come together in inspiring ways. Here are a few of my favorite spots to photograph:

Arnold Arboretum, Jamaica Plain
There’s nothing like the Arboretum in fall, stunning foliage, winding paths, and pockets of warm light. It’s one of my go-to places for photo walks and family portraits. There are also plenty of big trees that create beautiful shade on sunny days.

Crane Beach, Ipswich
One of my favorite spots for golden hour and sunset. The dunes and sky shift into soft shades of pink, lavender, and pale blue that never feels the same twice.

Marblehead Lighthouse & Beach
A recent discovery and now a favorite. The light here is beautiful in every season. The mix of rocky shoreline, open water, and the lighthouse creates the perfect backdrop for photos or a quiet moment to just pause and take it all in.

Stonehurst, the Robert Treat Paine Estate, Waltham
In summer, this historic estate feels like stepping into another time. The light filters through old trees, bouncing off stone walls and long grassy paths — perfect for soft portraits or architectural details surrounded by nature.
